Stephen Coraggio

Stephen Coraggio leads the Americas Financial Services Cybersecurity Transformation Services practice at IBM. His projects range from enterprise-wide, executive-level cyber strategy to cyber fusion center design, build, and deployments. Stephen has proved himself adaptable with an ability to sell, manage, and execute complex tasks, including the development of high-level strategic and tactical roadmaps and performing hands-on system / architectural reviews of IT implementations.

Recently, Stephen led the strategy, design, and build of a Global Security Operations Center at a $34B global capital markets firm. In addition, he co-managed a $30M incident response project at a Fortune 5 Commercial Banking organization where he helped design, build, implement, and operate a 24/7 cyber fusion center. He has also led numerous enterprise-wide cyber security assessments that included detailed analysis, recommendations, and prioritized cyber security roadmaps.

Prior to joining IBM, Stephen worked at Booz Allen Hamilton in New York serving as the principal in commercial cybersecurity design, implementation, and the operations lead. His responsibilities included Cyber Threat Intelligence, Vulnerability Management, Security Operations Center, Threat Defense, Identity and Access Management, Data Protection, and Insider Threat.

Stephen holds a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from Stevens Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Finance, and Management from the University of Delaware.
